World Youth Day 2025

In July, fellow Rams will embark on a pilgrimage to Italy for World Youth Day Rome 2025 - Jubilee of Hope from July 27 to August 4, 2025. As we walk the ancient roads of the Eternal City, we will join millions of Catholics in celebration of the 2,025th anniversary of the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Jubilee Year invites all Catholics to embrace a year of reconciliation and pilgrimage, whether it be across the world or in our own spiritual life. Pope Francis inaugurated this special year by opening the Holy Doors of St. Peter's Basilica on Christmas Eve and publishing his Papal Bull, “Spes non confundit,” that is hope does not disappoint.

This pilgrimage will be a time of profound prayer, reflection, and connection. The Fordham delegation will walk amongst the Universal Church as it gathers with millions of pilgrims for a variety of liturgies, service projects, and conferences. We will carry with us the graces of World Youth Day Lisbon 2023, praying for open spirits, trusting hearts, and a far-sighted vision as we look toward World Youth Day Seoul 2027. In the words of Pope Francis, this Jubilee will “restore a climate of hope and trust as a prelude to the renewal and rebirth that we so urgently desire.” We pilgrims of Fordham will journey with Christ in our hearts, holding our Bronx-born faith community in fervent prayer. Your support makes this transformative pilgrimage possible, and together, we will return with renewed faith, eager to share the hope and grace we've received along this journey.
