The Student Experience at WFUV

Student journalists at WFUV receive extensive experience in the news and sports industries, from field reporting to news casting to podcasting.  Often working alongside professional mass media counterparts to cover news, their stories are featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and Morning Edition nationwide.

Likewise, the all-student WFUV sports team is fully credentialed and covers nine tri-state sports teams (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL), and major sporting events including the Super Bowl.

Students with interests in music production gain hands-on experience producing and hosting live broadcasts and in-studio sessions with a wide variety of artists.
