Global Outreach is a service and cultural immersion program focused on social justice and community participation. Fordham’s Jesuit aim of developing diverse leaders for a global society drives Global Outreach programs. Projects enable students to engage directly with communities in the United States and worldwide while learning about inequality systems and concentrating on anti-oppression and anti-racism efforts.
Along with the Olancho Aid Foundation, we have the privilege of learning about how Hondurans have developed their education system to accommodate every type of student they receive and have faith in one another to help better their communities for the future of their country. Their mission is to “...build transformative pathways for inclusive education that unite and inspire the Honduran community, igniting growth and fulfillment in mind, body, and spirit.” Their vision is to spark a global “community interconnected through education, united in dignity, and driven by collaboration to spark lasting, positive change in Honduras.”
However, we cannot accomplish this alone. Your sponsorship has enabled us to conduct these travels and give these experiences over the past 62 years of Global Outreach. Your gifts allow high-achieving, dedicated students to go on life-changing, spiritually stirring experiences that will last a lifetime.
