About

Help the Class of 2025 Launch Their Professional Careers at their Senior Showcase!

Located in the heart of NYC and with faculty members who are working theatre professionals, the industry magazine Playbill regularly lists Fordham University as one of the top universities represented on Broadway.

Each year, the students of the Theatre Program’s Senior Class host an industry networking event and celebration to showcase their work to industry professionals. This provides students with both an educational experience and an opportunity to immerse themselves among potential employers and future colleagues:

Fordham Theatre Class of ‘25 Senior Showcase

Friday, May 2, 2025 (12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)

Corrigan Conference Center, 12th Floor Lounge

Showcase networking events are the industry standard for introducing new undergraduate and graduate students to the competitive NYC market. During the busy Spring Showcase Season casting directors, talent agents, directors, and producers, are invited to dozens of these events, and it can be difficult to stand out. Showcases that entice industry attendance can cost upwards of $20K or more. Your contribution will help the Class of ‘25 put their best foot forward by subsidizing:

  • Professionally edited and filmed showcase scenes
  • Workshops in film acting and makeup & hair for film/tv
  • Makers faire materials and supplies
  • Adjudicator fees for comprehensive portfolio reviews

The Fordham University Theatre Program is highly regarded as one of the most outstanding Bachelor of Arts theatre training programs in the country. The program combines the intimacy of a small conservatory with an exceptional liberal arts education, and the rich resources and opportunities available in the world capital of the performing arts. With four mainstage shows and up to 20 studio shows each year, students are continually learning by doing.

Theatre majors pursue a concentration of study in any of four areas: performance, design and production, directing, or playwriting. The theatre curriculum, which reflects the faculty’s belief that theatre is an interdisciplinary art, emphasizes the collaborative links between these disciplines.

Your contribution to the Fordham Theatre Senior Showcase can help open doors for aspiring actors and creative teams. By making a donation, you not only contribute to the celebration of their work, but you directly impact their future in helping them prepare for work in the entertainment industry. Join us in shaping the dreams of Fordham students!
