Send Our Student Veterans to NatCon

The Student Veterans of America National Conference ("NatCon" as we like to call it) is the largest gathering of student veterans anywhere in the world with more than 3,000 student veterans attending. With SVA chapters at over 1,500 campuses across the U.S. and in several countries abroad, NatCon serves as a focal point in the academic year to share ideas, best practices, and network with student veterans, military-connected students, their families, supporters, and allies, as well as corporate, government, and nonprofit partners, and more!

This event will be held in Orlando, FL, Jan 5-7, 2023. We would like to send a team of 5 student veterans, who will be our incoming Fordham Student Veterans of America at Fordham leadership for the coming year. 

A donation of $10,000 would enable us to bring 5 students, at approx. $2,000 per student veteran. This cost includes flights, lodging, conference tickets, and food.

The student veterans bring back valuable information to share with the rest of the student veteran population at Fordham. They are better-informed leaders and can mentor and share valuable contexts and networks.

Fordham is a stand-out chapter, being nominated for 1 of 5 Chapter of the Year honors in 2019 and 2021. Three of our past student veterans have been nominated for Student Veteran of the Year finalist.
