Fordham's Jesuit identity is driven by mission. The Office of Mission and Ministry supports students wherever they are in their own journey. Offering services for all faiths, service projects, community engagement opportunities, Ignatian education extends far beyond the classroom into the entire Fordham experience. Your support Ignites Change for Fordham students.

This summer, Fordham students will participate in World Youth Day and MAGIS 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal. World Youth Day is a pilgrimage of young people from across the world who gather with Pope Francis to celebrate the universality of the Church and empower her future generations. As a delegation, we represent the largest group of students from any Jesuit university in the United States!
In addition to attending World Youth Day, our delegation will also participate in MAGIS 2023, an international event sponsored by the Society of Jesus for young adults across the world to serve, reflect, and pray in local communities in preparation for World Youth Day. The hope is that, led by the Spirit of Christ, we will pursue lives of service committed to creating a hope-filled future. Our eager participation in MAGIS will better allow our delegation to understand and live out the Universal Apostolic Preferences–the guiding preferences of the Jesuits as ratified by Pope Francis.
As young people, we respond to God’s call by leaning into the unknown, seeking accompaniment, and returning to Fordham with enriched and awakened hearts. Your support will help make this opportunity a reality by ensuring this experience is accessible for students of all financial backgrounds.
Paul Brusco, GABELLI '86 LAW '90, will match all gifts to World Youth Day, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000. We are incredibly thankful for this opportunity and your support, and we look forward to sharing our journey with you!

Campus Ministry seeks to foster the integral growth of the entire Fordham University community. We strive to offer a warm and trusting welcome to all, a "home away from home" where everyone — students, faculty, and staff — can always find a listening ear and an understanding heart. In addition to offering a wide variety of programs, retreats, and opportunities for both spiritual growth and social justice, we also live in student residences, worship in the community, teach, organize support groups, respond to emergencies, and serve on University committees and as academic advisers. Thank you for your support!

At a time when religion’s role in American life is both praised and contested, Fordham’s Center on Religion and Culture (CRC) explores the complex relationship between faith and contemporary life.
Through public events and conversations with experts and artists, scholars and faith leaders, the CRC seeks to engage and elevate the public dialogue about religion and culture, the mind and the soul, inclusion and identity, politics, and the arts.
Your support is invaluable to CRC. Thank you for all that you do!

The Center for Community Engaged Learning brings Fordham together with neighboring communities and global partners for experiential learning, research, civic engagement, and the pursuit of social justice. You can learn more about the work we do on our website.
An anonymous Fordham family will match all gifts to the Center for Community Engaged Learning, dollar for dollar, up to $15,000.
Thanks for your support during Giving Day and beyond! Your gift changes the world, one student at a time.

Sixty years ago this upcoming June, a group of 27 Fordham students traveled to Mexico for something they called the Mexico Project. They spent two months in Mexico City building houses, meeting community leaders, and engaging in service projects. In this way, our students began a global initiative, centering faith, justice, spirituality, and encounter between Fordham University and communities throughout the world. This is how Global Outreach began.
In 1988, Fordham students created the Global Outreach club, which over the following 30 years, ran upwards of 60 projects a year, encompassing the Americas, Europe, and Africa. In 2018, Global Outreach became part of the Center for Community Engaged Learning, where it happily resides today to create mission-centric educational opportunities for and with our students and global partners. These timestamps mark pivotal and liminal moments in this 60-year legacy, but the magic of this transformation is really yours to share as alumni and members of our global community.
Celebrate this milestone with a gift to Global Outreach! Your gift will provide access to more students to participate in this transformative experience with a faith that does justice.
With gratitude,
Vanessa Rotondo, FCRH ‘17
PS If you had the chance to participate in a ¡GO! project, we invite you to share your story with the Global Outreach community!
