Fordham College at Lincoln Center students experience the best the city has to offer just outside their door: arts and culture, cuisine and languages from around the world, history and tradition, and a world of opportunity, just a subway ride away.
Thanks to the generosity of the community, Fordham is able to remove financial barriers and ensure students can fully participate in the college experience. Scholarship aid, NYC cultural experiences, events hosted by clubs (and even more) are supported by donations.
Your gift goes even further today! Jonathan Valenti, FCLC will contribute $200 per gift made to the Fordham College Lincoln Center, up to $10,000. All gifts made will support Summer Undergraduate Research Grants in which students conduct student-driven research supported by faculty mentors.

What is distinctive about the FCLC Honors Program? It takes seriously the motto, “New York is my campus, Fordham is my school.” Many of the Honors seminars have New York City as their focus or use institutions in the city as their classrooms. Where better to study art history than at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or the history of New York than at the New-York Historical Society? Our location in the middle of Manhattan, one block from Central Park, puts students within walking distance of most of the city’s great cultural institutions, and a short subway ride away from many of its neighborhoods. Honors students develop over four years into citizens of New York City through a variety of community engaged learning experiences.

Thank you for your kind consideration of support of this area on Fordham Giving Day!
604 days ago by Fordham UniversityLet’s celebrate our incredibly talented student-dancers!
The Ailey School and Fordham University are partners in a highly innovative Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in dance. The BFA program offers the best of two worlds: The artistic pre-eminence of the official school of the world-famous Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, coupled with an exceptional liberal arts education rooted in the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence.
Denise Jefferson was director of the Ailey School as the program was conceived and inaugurated in 1998 until her death in 2010. In 2012 an artistic merit scholarship was named in Denise's honor and funded by the students' performance in this annual concert and awarded to a junior and senior student each year.
The Denise Jefferson Scholars are fine dancers with real artistic potential as well as students who can meet—and exceed—Fordham’s demanding standards.
Your gift will help us unlock a challenge gift from Patricia Dugan Perlmuth, FCLC ’79, who will match all gifts made to the Denise Jefferson Memorial Scholarship Fund dollar for dollar, up to $6,250! THANK YOU for supporting our dance students!
604 days ago by Fordham UniversityFulfilling Fordham’s promise that New York is our campus, the Serving the City Internship Program provides Fordham College Rose Hill and Fordham College Lincoln Center students with access to paid internships with nonprofit organizations aligned with Fordham’s mission.
Through these internships, students gain valuable professional experience, broaden their networks, and put Fordham’s Jesuit mission into action by partnering with our local community in educational, cultural, anti-racist, or social justice-related endeavors.
Thanks for your consideration in support of this internship during Fordham Giving Day!
