Honor Father McShane by helping complete the building that will bear his name
Through the renewal effort of a Campus Center at Rose Hill, a student center built in the 1950s is being transformed into a 21st-century facility that meets students’ full developmental, social, and recreational needs.
Opening in three phases, the new campus center will combine the McGinley Center, Lombardi Center, and Rose Hill Gym and feature an 80,000-square-foot addition to create a complex offering generous space and enhancements.
The entire construction project projected to be completed in 2025, but students can already access amenities including an improved student lounge, fitness center space, and office space for Campus Ministry, Career Services and the Center for Community Engaged Learning.
The next phase will include the finishing of a grand arcade that will connect the new building to the existing McGinley Center. Subsequently, the final phase of project includes renovating the McGinley Center, including the Marketplace, post office and club suites. When finished, the entire project will reflect Fordham’s history while giving visitors a modern space to convene and relax.
