Fordham Satin Dolls

The objective of this campaign is to raise money to support the recording of an album and the production of physical copies to be shared with those inside and outside of the a capella community. Having our music in a more tangible state that can be sold to others will promote our publicity and even facilitate further fundraising for the group. Specifically, donor gifts will subsidize the cost of recording, mastering, and producing an album. The Satin Dolls hope to record 4-5 songs and in addition to having physical albums to share with others, hope to put these songs on various streaming platforms (i.e., Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora) in an effort to reach as many ears as possible. We love what we do and we want to share that with as much of the world as possible!

Once reaching our goal, we will select our best songs and find a recording team that specifically works with a capella groups. Having an a capella-specific recording ream will not only ensure the highest quality of sound given that they are familiar with the nature of a capella music, but also equip us with the licensing rights for the songs that we arrange, cover, and plan to share. Once recorded and mastered, we hope to sell our album outside of our Spring 2020 concert. Thank you!
