Founded less than a decade ago, the Outdoors Club is a unique organization on Fordham’s campus that offers students the opportunity to engage in a wide range of outdoor activities. We believe our work in the Fordham community helps students de-stress from the rigors of academic life, make new friends, and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Our goal is to cultivate within our members a healthy appreciation of the outdoors and all it has to offer. Given Fordham’s urban location, this is essential for its students. From rock climbing, to kayaking, to hiking, we offer something for everyone, regardless of skill level.
To keep this important part of the Fordham community alive and thriving, however, we need support from donors like yourself to fund our activities and expand on our programming opportunities. Currently, we are raising $2000 to cover the costs of our year-long rock climbing membership, new climbing and camping gear, as well as additional Ram Van transportation for hikes. Even a little will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals and continue to offer Fordham students much-needed opportunities for outdoor adventure around New York City.
