Global Outreach (GO!) is a program at Fordham University where students can have the opportunity to immerse themselves into a culture and be integrated amongst the community and partners. Each GO! The project focuses on the pillars that Global Outreach embodies: education, social justice, simple living, community, and spirituality, and within that, students participate in being connected, open-minded, and embracing change, especially with one another.
In March 2023, our team will be heading to Puebla City, Mexico, where we will learn more about civil service and environmental advocacy with our community partner Enlaces Comunitarios Internacionales, a non-profit,
community-run sustainability organization seeking to empower local farmers through sustainable ecological practices. Throughout our formation, the team will be learning about sustainability movements in Mexico, while engaging with the vibrant Mexican community here in New York City. Not only are we excited to be allowed to be a part of an immersion experience, but we are grateful to be doing it together as a team. We would really appreciate donations as they will immensely help fund the expenses of our project and will allow each of us to experience this Global Outreach project in Mexico. Thank you!
