GO! Mexico

The Mexico project will travel specifically to the region of Puebla and work with Enlaces Comunitarios Internacionales. Enlaces Comunitarios Internacionales’ (ECI) Community Sustainable Development Center (CSDC) is located in San Jeronimo Tecuanipan in the state of Puebla, Mexico. The CSDC is thought to be the physical space for the confluence of communities, social organizations, academic institutions, government agencies as well as international organizations, achieved through sustainability on a local, regional, national and international level to generate links and relationships of coexistence based on social and environmental responsibility, mutual respect, intercultural understanding, equality, justice and solidarity. Our team will engage in an immersion experience with ECI and will be uniquely exposed to several of their programs including learning about sustainable farming, interacting with the CSDC's young people, and staying with families who are members of the ECI community.

As donors you will be an essential part of our team as we depend on the generosity of loved ones to ensure that every member of this project can experience all that Puebla Mexico and the ECI community can teach us. We plan on bringing the wisdom we gain from the community in Puebla back with us to our Fordham communities and beyond. Be sure to ask us what we learned when we get back on January 12th!
