Global Outreach (GO!) is a cultural immersion program run by the Center for Community Engaged Learning where Fordham students learn about various issues of social, economic, political, and environmental injustice while living a simple lifestyle that fosters communal and spiritual growth.
GO! Dominican Republic is a learning project where students will have the opportunity to work closely with the Caribbean Social Immersion Program. The Caribbean Social Immersion Program creates “all-inclusive” and customized social immersion, academic and service experiences in the Dominican Republic. With this program the GO! DR team will learn about migration, Ignatian spirituality/religion in the Dominican Republic, binational relations between Haiti and DR, and environmental justice in the aftermath of hurricane Ian.
